Pigeon Forge, TN

After Jeremy took his Board Exams me and the girls met him in Pigeon Forge, TN for a well deserved and fun filled weekend!! We went to Dolly Parton's Splash Country Water Park. A Dinosaur Museum, Bass Pro Shop, Olive Garden, The Tanger Outlets, and Baskin Robbins!!

Jeremy and Kailyn got stuck on the slide..but Kailyn still thought it was a blast.

Running through the sprinkles...this was a big step for Kailyn..she is not a fan of having water splashed in her face. We are working on that.

Kailyn and I took a walk to BassPro across the street from our hotel. Kailyn threw pennies and made wished in the stream . She likes throwing money in the water..I guess I should get used to her wanting to throw our money away. ha ha

They had computers that kids could play games on and color pictures of dinosaurs..I believe Kailyn was coloring a Woolly Mammoth.

We ended the weekend with Baskin Robbins(the best Ice Cream Ever). Jeremy and I both had our first jobs at Baskin Robbins..that is how we knew we were meant to be. ha ha. Kailyn loves her ice cream and we love her cute, funny faces.

Trip to California-Fifth and Last Leg

This post has taken awhile because I left my camera cord in California...I just got it back, my camera is charged and I was able to download the rest of the pictures. It gives me comfort to know that I have a working camera...I felt lost without it.

Kelly Olds invited us for a ride and lunch on their "boat". We said yes and we were so glad we did. I personally do not call it a boat. It was very large and nice!! We went for a short ride sue to the kiddies. We went out for a little bit, we went to visit the Sea Lions, ate pizza, enjoyed the beauty of the ocean.!! It was great! Thanks Kelly!!

Kailyn and Jovie got hair cuts, it was Jovie's first and Kailyn's first in a salon, my cousin Lauren had done it once or twice before but I don't think Kailyn has memories of those times because she was less than thrilled to get hers cut. But it the end they both looked super cute and Kailyn got a balloon. That made it all worth it.

We had a blast in California while missing Jeremy. It was a long flight home. We were worn out and tired.

We ate at Macaroni Grill before heading back to Harrogate where Kailyn got to touch the Rat...rat tail that is. While we were gone Jeremy decided to cut his hair so that it would look more professional for rotations but he decided to leave a rat tail.(does anyone else think the South is rubbing off on him?) It was so funny but sadly a few days later I did the honors and cut it off.

The night we came home Kailyn was promised by Jeremy to catch Fireflies. Kailyn didn't even know what they were until then, but had a lot of fun outside with dad and watching Jeremy run after them in attempts to get the fireflies in the jar. There were so many fireflies...it looked really cool. We all had a good time...even Jovie.
