Aquarium of the Smokies

During Spring Break we took a short family trip to Gatlinburg, TN to visit the Aquarium. It was really a neat Aquarium and Kailyn had a lot of fun. She kept asking to find Nemo and after looking for awhile,(I thought her hopes might be smashed) I finally found a clown fish (whew). Anyway, we had a blast and I am sure that Kailyn could have stayed there all day. It was a great day and the military discount was a huge bonus!!!

Cool looking jellyfish

This was my favorite picture of the day...the sting ray and Kailyn were on the same page of
smiling and looking at the camera. I love the sting rays smiley face, I think he's a ham.

Looking through the tank to daddy, Kailyn is a little sad because she leaned her head forward not being able to tell where the glass started and smacked her face into it. It was kind of funny.

Aunt Alison!!

Aunt Alison came to Harrogate during Spring Break and Kailyn was very exicted, she helped me color the letter for her welcoming sign. And she didn't waste any time putting Alison to work with blowing bubbles...
And playing on the computer..they played music and we all had a dance party!
Kailyn also got to paint, play, and color with Aunt Alison. We all took a trip to Knoxville, and then to Gatlinburg!
We ate at a seafood restaurant in Gatlinburg.
It was so fun to have Alison here! We love you and Kailyn has asked for you quite a few times since you went home. My only regret is that it rained so much while you were here. :)

Jovie is 6 Months

Jovie hit the 6 month mark on March 12...I'm just a little slow. Ha

We love Jovie! She is so sweet and mello and people friendly. She never turns anyone away, she will go to anyone happily and people at church love that! She has been cooing a lot, trying to sit up, loves being held. She still has a ton of hair(A lot of people said that it would probably fall out, but I could have called their bluff), I never thought it would. Jovie loves watching people and we love watching her. She makes us smile. Oh and she never stops drooling! :)
Here are Jovie's stats and pictures:

Height: 27 inches Weight: 17.4 lbs Teeth:2

Day at the Park

The other day my friend Laura and I decided to pack up the kids and go to the park. It was supposed to be 70 degrees, but it was overcast and windy, which made it a little chilly. However, we ended up staying at the park for 3 hours. The kids loved it and Laura and I did too. Here are some pictures.

Jovie hung out in the stroller the entire time. How did I get so lucky to have such a content and mello baby? I don't know, but I'll take it!
Kailyn and Payton, 2 years apart and Kailyn is about half the size of Payton. Kailyn has idolized Payton for quite sometime and I have a feeling that sense Kailyn has gotten older, Payton gets more and more excited to play with her. They are so cute!
Payton, Kailyn, and Jaxon on the tire swing. It was Kailyn's first time, she liked it.............
And then she didn't. But these are some great faces from all 3 kidsAnd we can't forget little Ashton. He is a cutie! Love this face!

Chili Cook off

Up at Jeremy's school they had a chili cook off to help raise money for a food bank in Middlesboro, KY. I decided to enter my chili and guess what?
I WON!!!!!
It is the 2nd time I have entered my chili in a cook off and won, the first was with my single's ward a LONG time ago. But the judging at this cook off wasn't exactly the best way to do it or should I say fair.....but still, I won a gift cert. to Chili's!! Yeah!! Free Food! how can you go wrong with that?
